Monorail train route in the Fifth Settlement
Baitwatan in New Cairo’s Fifth Settlement is one of the most important and best national projects currently underway in the heart of New Cairo. The monorail starts from Al-Moshir Tantawy station, then Cairo Festival station, and finally reaches the American University station.
Additionally, it is planned that the New Administrative Capital monorail line will pass near one of the most important shopping centers in the Fifth Settlement, Cairo Festival City.
This will consequently increase the significance of residential units in compounds like Cairo Festival City and other real estate investments in the area, such as Lake View, Hyde Park, and Katameya Heights.
The first station
Al Narges district is one of the best and most luxurious districts in the Fifth Settlement. It is one of the monorail stations within the Fifth Settlement, which will greatly facilitate transportation between different areas of the Fifth Settlement and the New Administrative Capital.
Additionally, the value of residential units in this district will increase over time, making it the most investment-worthy area in the future. This is because the residential units and projects in this district will be much closer to the New Administrative Capital.
The second station
Choueifat district is also one of the monorail stations in the Fifth Settlement. The monorail passes through all the compounds and residential units located there.
The third station
North Teseen Street is one of the most important and well-known streets in the Fifth Settlement. The monorail will pass through it from the American University station.
Monorail route in Nasr City
Since the decision was made to establish the monorail project, the designated areas it will pass through have gained a distinguished status. This is especially true since it will significantly reduce congestion and save a lot of time needed for commuting between cities.
The monorail will pass near Nasr City, specifically from Youssef Abbas Street and Al-Ashar Station, passing close to the airport through the Stadium and Hisham Barakat stations. This will facilitate commuting between these districts and the New Administrative Capital. In Nasr City, the “Free Zone,” one of the most vibrant areas in Cairo, the passage of the monorail will increase its value and boost investment. The monorail will connect global companies’ headquarters and factories in this area with landmarks of the New Administrative Capital.
Monorail route in 6th of October
The monorail serves a large number of districts in the 6th of October City, especially after the new expansions undertaken by the implementation authority. The most important stations include the Industrial Zone, Jehana Square, and Al-Hosary Station.
The first station
There is a designated monorail station in Sheikh Zayed City, specifically at Hyper One Market. This location serves as the main entrance to the city and is one of the most important and prime areas within it.
The second station
There is another designated monorail station in the Engineers’ City, specifically on University Street, which is one of the main streets in the area and connects to the extension of the third metro line. This will facilitate travel and commuting between the heart of Cairo and 6th of October City in a shorter time.
